St. Luke's Youth Players (SLYP)
From Kindergarten through 5th grade our young people get together on Friday nights from 7:30-8:30 in the
assembly hall to sing, dance and prepare to share the WordThe fall brings us back together preparing for
Christmas pageant Light of the World. Each year’s performance brings a new
piece of the story to light as we highlight the gifts of all of our
children. There is always room in the heavenly choir for one more child. Contact Kathy DeWalt at dewalt@slechurch.org and join the fun.
SLYP forms the core of our annual Christmas Pageant and has other performaces throughout the year. The group meets on Friday night for fun filled rehearsals. For more information check the calendar or contact the church office.
Participants in SLYP are trained b professional teachers and music instructors along with other parent volunteers. The emphasis is on fun and learning.
